Printer & Head Warranty

Two Year Warranty

 Two year warranty on the printer (excluding print head)

 Print head warranty is:

 50Km in thermal transfer mode

 30Km in direct thermal mode

 Or 6 months, whichever comes soonest

 Warranty = minimum life – reality will be more

Why not include ‘free lifetime print heads’?

 Typical 4”x4” labels: 750 per roll = 75metres / roll

 Assume minimum distance of 50Km = 666 rolls

 The reality is likely to many more rolls

 Print head cost per roll = €0.28 or £0.18 list price

 Include as part of the media roll cost

 Keeps customer loyal to your consumable supply
