• MSW 4-5: Selecting Paper Collecting Direction

Function: Selects the paper collecting direction when collecting paper is set to be Valid. Valid only

when MSW 4-4 is ON.

Collect Direction Rear Front

Operation at ON (1):

Ejects paper forward.

Ejects paper forward after the time set for command <GS+R+1+n> receipt collection

timer has passed or by the immediate collection command <GS+R+0>.

Operation at OFF (0):

Collects paper Backward.

Collects paper inside the printer by the time for command <GS+R+1+n> receipt

collection timer has passed or by the immediate collection command <GS+R+0>.

• MSW 4-6: Selecting Paper Ejection Start Timing from Presenter

Function: Selects the timing for starting paper ejection from the presenter. When MSW4-4 is ON

and MSW4-5 is OFF, the printer performs direct eject operation regardless of the status

of MSW4-6.

Collect Method General Direct

Operation at ON (1):

Ejects directly.

When paper reaches the top of the presenter, the printer starts ejecting paper in

synchronization with the line feeding without loosening of paper.

Operation at OFF (0):

Ejects normally.

Printer does not eject paper even when paper reaches the top of the presenter but it

ejects paper after loosening paper by 300 mm max. When paper length reaches 300

mm, direct ejection is used.
